What December Brought For Face Painting Illusions!

We love the holidays!  Christmas is no exception!  We had a delightful time returning this year as elves face painting at Thanksgiving Point.  We celebrated with good little boys and girls all dressed up in their finest wintry attire and happy faces.  Our costumes were designed by Emily Steck, complete with curled up toes, pointy hats,  and glittery poinsettia!

Below is a video of our face painting line.  We painted cheek art of snow flakes, reindeer, Jack Skellington (from the Frightmare Before Christmas movie), bells and bows, holly and ivy, lights and the Sugar Plumb Fairy designs.  There was also candy canes and Santa!  The best part of the Breakfast was watching the little children gaze endlessly in the mirror after we painted their faces!

Here we see a great artist at work - Arianne!

Breakfast was just fantastic!  There were eggs and bacon, sausage, french toast with maple syrup, orange juice and hot chocolate.  Everyone loved the other activities, and especially when the Grinch appeared ("Oh!  It's the Grinch!" the little boy said below in the video :D), and later visiting with Santa and having their picture taken with Him.  The Sugar Plumb Fairy came this year!  She was so beautiful!  Just like a princess :D  While most of the patrons were eating, some of the kids got an early start on face painting!

Here we are from last year....Emily, Katie, Marie and Susan.

Here we are this year...Taylor, Eric, Emily, and Katie.

Last year...Amy and Emily...

See our curly toes and poinsettia?

It's the Grinch!!! (The little boy's forehead on the right says, "Bad."  His father made me do it!)

Here's Diana!

We have painted many other places during Christmas and the New Year.  There were private company parties at Snowbird, Gardner Village, and corporate employee parties in Murray, UT.   Here are some pictures from those events.

How do you like the aprons I made?  I love the reindeer antlers, too :D

There is so much more to show and write about....but for now, see you at the next posting!
